Are you a seasoned engineer with a passion for high-performance systems and hardware innovation? We’re hiring a Senior Hardware Design Engineer for one of our clients—a client-driven IT service provider specializing in Cloud, Linux, and DevOps solutions. This full-time, onsite role is located in Newark, California, and offers the opportunity to work at the cutting edge of enterprise technology.

 

About the Role

As a Senior Hardware Engineer, you’ll design DIMM and custom memory modules for high-performance server and embedded applications. You’ll handle everything from schematic capture to signal integrity simulations and lab validations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • High-speed PCB hardware design (10GHz+)
  • Schematic capture, component selection, and collaboration with layout engineers
  • SI/PI simulation and lab validation
  • Root-cause analysis and design improvement recommendations
  • Cross-functional collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, and test groups

Qualifications:

  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering
  • 7+ years in high-speed interface/hardware design
  • Proficiency in Orcad CIS, Cadence tools, SI/PI simulation
  • Deep understanding of JEDEC DDR standards
  • Strong lab testing and communication skills

Location: Newark, CA
Schedule: Full-time, onsite
